The goal is to  encourage the construction of accessory dwelling units (ADUs). The program will make it easier for homeowners in these cities to add an ADU to their property by providing pre-reviewed stock plans.

These pre-reviewed ADU stock plans for ADUs will meet all local zoning and building codes. This makes the permitting process much faster, less costly, and more streamlined.
